Block parties fill the summer months in my home town. Every neighborhood loves to block off the street, bring out the food and lawn chairs and connect with their neighbors! Twisted balloons are a great form of entertainment!
The kids enjoy running around wearing wild and crazy hats and the men usually drift over to where I am twisting and challenge me to make a favorite team hat or mascot. Sometimes it is fishing hats to go along with the fish tales they are sharing!
It works out great! While I am entertaining the kids and the men, the women get a chance to sit down and visit with the neighbors!
