“Dive Into Reading!” is the new Story Time Stage Show for the Iowa 2010 summer reading program “Make a Splash @ Your Library!” Join us as we put a new “twist” on favorite stories to ignite your reader’s imaginations and excitement in reading!

I have several “fishy” characters that are dying to have their stories told! We’ll meet a quirky little penguin that doesn’t quite fit in with his peers. Won’t they be surprised to discover how his uniqueness saves the day when danger threatens their rookery!

And on the other side of the ocean we’ll encounter three little fish and the big bad shark! Will the shark have sushi for lunch? Or will the trio of trout outsmart the monstrous predator? Join us to find out!

The show is a combination of balloon art, stories and the acting abilities of the children in the audience! Volunteers from the audience will step up to the stage, dress up in balloon costumes, and bring the stories to life for the rest of the audience! The Creations With A Twist Story Time Stage Show can be enjoyed by all ages but is geared towards your elementary reading group K- 5th grade.
